Thinking of Starting a Poll

I have decided that the best way to decide what I am going to do after graduation might be just to ask for suggestions, so I am opening it up to all of you to suggest the perfect profession or course of action.  Please comment on this post I need all the input I can get. Comical or serious responses will both be accepted (within reason).

There will never be enough good teachers in this world. There will also never be enough good well-paid teachers. I've lately toyed with the idea of becoming a high school band teacher for a while. I think it would be fantastic, maybe a way to relive the old Jazz-band glory days. Maybe I'd be the NerdHerd advisor too. Science Olympiad, Science Bowl... *sigh* who knows.

But then, the world also lacks a good supply of underwater-basket-weavers.

1) There is nothing like being an astronaut. I bet.

2) Toto needs a FT percussionist. Do you like '80s rock?

3) With a math background, why don't you work for NASA and listen to Toto when you're bored?

4) Stay close and see if you get a job with Thiokol--come up here and hang with us!

I recomend that you go to "Customize", and add an actual pole on the side bar of options you're actually considering (or would be okay with) and give us something to work with.

As for me, I think EVERYONE should start some kind of proven business on the side to supliment their income, no matter where else they deside to work. Job security is becoming an illusion, and the last thing you want is to be caught without any "nest-eggs" in a time of unemployment. This is a sound path you can take regardless of what else you decide to do.

I really picture you doing something fun, Abe, like everything we did in High School. Find something that's in some way tied into your dream job. I don't know what that is, just don't apply for a crappy job that you won't like just because you feel like that's the only thing availible right now. Think things through and don't sell yourself short. You deserve the best! Good luck!

My advise would be pray and go to the Temple. And on top of that get a "father's blessing" in this case that would be Sam but he is not here so Ben. Blessings from Joe have always helped me when I am down and just don't know what to do or don't know how I am going to get through something. In this case I think it would definately help you decide. Love Lea

Nate, I felt like an actual poll would make me be doing all of the being creative thinking. I like the different views of different people and I have many people more creative than I. Thanks everyone for the comments

Have you tried going to monster and looking there for jobs. I am not very creative thinking of different jobs but that might give you some other ideas.
