think practically every decision I have made this year has utterly
failed. I will absolutely never own a living space above or below
another person side by side maybe, but never in a position where water
could be leaking from my home and damaging someone elses.
I can't take the consistent failure of decisions it is so overwhelming
that in the middle of some progress things just fall apart. That is
the story of 2008 for me.
"I could try this" *failure* repeat.
Well, I guess we will see what a contractor says and I will just have
to deal with what happens yippee. Maybe I will start living at the
hospital so I can get in more overtime to pay for the next inevitable
failure, in addition to this one.

Maybe 2008 is just not your year. But you and Jane have had a lot of changes - jobs, moving, buying a new place - it will take some adjustments, and those adjustments don't happen overnight. What does your insurance say about the leak? It will all work out, just give it time. And think of all the things that have worked out for you this year. If nothing else seems right, remember that dang cute daughter of yours and that should sustain you for a while! Good luck, we'll be thinking of and praying for you.
Let me know what you need but your insurance should do some of the repairs.

Your mother seems a bit obsessed with what you need, eh?
Abe, This is Ben. I know that it is freaky and it seams that it is all going to fall apart but it won't. I promise. This is coming from the one in the family that has moved his family around so many times poor Mel has been in four different elementary schools. I promise that something always comes out good in every situation as long as you are humble enough to watch for the good. Love you and keep your head up. You have a beautiful family that needs you.
